How does it work?
Aevo L2 is a custom Ethereum rollup utilizing the Optimism stack. The platform’s approach combines an off-chain central limit order book for trade matching with on-chain settlement via smart contracts on Ethereum L2. This hybrid model ensures a high-performance trading environment with low latency akin to centralized exchanges, all while upholding the security and transparency of decentralized settlement.
With an emphasis on governance participation, reduced trading fees, and enhanced rewards for stakeholders, AEVO plays a vital role in the platform’s decentralized governance model. The token’s utility extends to ensuring community involvement in the platform’s evolution.
